Nishit Kesaria

Nishit joined the True North Private Credit team in 2026 as Senior Manager - Operations and Compliance. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing fund operations, compliance, financial reporting, and regulatory processes across the Private Credit platform.

Prior to joining True North, Nishit was Finance Manager at EMK Capital, a global investment firm. Before that, he served as Financial Controller at Millingtonia Capital, an India-focused hedge fund. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Tax and Regulatory Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), India, where he advised clients across the financial services sector.

Nishit brings extensive experience across fund operations, taxation, compliance, and regulatory matters, having worked with Indian and offshore private equity funds, distressed asset funds, hedge funds, and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs).

He is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has successfully completed all three levels of the CFA Program conducted by the CFA Institute, USA. He also holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS).

Outside of work, Nishit enjoys travelling and playing cricket and squash.
